January Home Maintenance Reminders
Check Roof/Gutters for Ice Dams
December was very cold, snowy icy month for us in Kittitas county with a rare dip in to the negitive tempatures its likely your roofs, gutters and solar pans cover in snow never melted off.
Schedule a 'Fix-it' Weekend
Take time to get all those little projects done that you walk by everyday - Touch up paint, Replace broken trim ect. you know the projects that need addressed.
Plan for 2023 Projects
Contractors are often booked out ahead of time. Contact contractors, landscapers, roofer ect during their slower months to get on the schedule.
Wipe Down Kitchen Cabinets
If your like us December means extra cooking and baking in the kitchen. With white cabinets I often find myself needing to wipe them off but even if you don't you'll likely be suprised how dirty they get.
Get Organized
Spend this extra time indoors tackling one closet, junk drawer or bin at a time. You likely got new items during the holidays that need to find a home.
Keep up on Ice & Snow
While it maybe getting warmer out and melting this week winter isn't over. Keep up on the snow and ice in your driveway sidewalks, patios and decks. Also don't forget about the puppy path in your yard.
